It is recommended that you check the clearance from your diff to your panhard rod before and after fitting the Radius Arm Spacers. The Panhard Rod and Diff Pumpkin run very close on some GU Patrol depending upon other suspension work that has been done on the vehicle. Pushing the diff forward with the spacers can result in the panhard rod making contact with the diff or the front of the radius arm, affecting the articulation of the panhard rod, which can place additional stress on the panhard welds and brackets, leading to premature failure.
Three options of the Aupart Radius Arm Spacer/ Washer are now available. These now include: AX0338 AX0338 is basically an upgraded washer, with improved bushing cup. It does not provide for any spacing component. Just replace the original washer with AX0338 which is a stronger replacement with longer side walls.
AX0186 AX0186 is our ‘original’ radius arm spacer. The washer is stronger, allows for 15mm ‘push’ of the diff, and has low profile side walls that still offer bush cupping for improved bushing longevity.
AX0337 AX0337 is our improved version of the original. Still offering 15mm ‘push’ of the diff, and an overall stronger washer, the side walls are increased substantially to provide for better cupping of the bushing and further improved bushing longevity.
